Child of #333. Close #333 with shakedown evidence, status-leaf row, and update the auto-memory note claiming events must be piped manually (false once armed).

VERDICT: DROP (skeptic) — close-out bookkeeping for #333 that belongs as a task on #333/#400, not a standalone ticket. Pending user decision; surfaced 2026-08-15, not acted on.
