Context

Docs-verified 2026-08-04: custom subagents always load the CLAUDE.md hierarchy + git status at spawn, with no per-agent opt-out (only built-in Explore/Plan skip it). Every os-sdlc dispatch into a worktree therefore pays the checked-out root CLAUDE.md (~12.8KB) plus any nested project CLAUDE.md. Only lever is file size: trim/split the root CLAUDE.md (ties into the deferred CLAUDE.md-split work) and keep programmer-relevant rules (e.g. no state comments) in agents/*.md instead. Vault note: reference/claude-code-subagent-context-loading.md.
