What to build

A monitoring subcommand that reads a subagent transcript JSONL and reports peak context/token usage, with a threshold exit code. A backstop against policy regression toward oversized contexts — not a resume gate (there are no resumes).

Acceptance criteria

  • Fixture JSONL transcripts with known usage lines: reported peak matches
  • Threshold exit codes correct
  • Tested at the CLI subprocess boundary

Implemented on branch worktree-spec-195-impl (commits 12d76a2, 9e3fece, f5a4961). Suite 498 runs / 0 failures; opus critique + corrections applied; aidd-lint clean of blocking offenses.
