What to build

A named smoke/parity gate: a deterministic script comparing new-path vs legacy-path output (the kind of ad-hoc check that caught the ticket #17 integration bug), exit-status-only verdict per the existing gate ADR, emitting a useful diff artifact on divergence.

Acceptance criteria

Fixture with deliberate new-vs-legacy divergence: nonzero exit + diff artifact
Passing fixture: zero exit
Tested at the CLI subprocess boundary

Implemented on branch worktree-spec-195-impl (commits 12d76a2, 9e3fece, f5a4961). Suite 498 runs / 0 failures; opus critique + corrections applied; aidd-lint clean of blocking offenses.
